L'anticorps monoclonal tfr2 (transferrine receptor 2) est capable d'hybridation de fusion de cellules tumorales prolifératives à l'infini, produisant des cellules fusionnées hybrides capables à la fois de sécréter des anticorps et de proliférer à l'infini, et les anticorps qu'il produit sont des anticorps hautement homogènes dirigés contre le même déterminant antigénique, l'anticorps monoclonal (monoclonal antibody), ou simplement l'anticorps monoclonal.
